Stock-taking to businesses and self-reflection to the man in the street - whether we are big companies hoping to profit or the wee little man on the street hoping for a pay rise to live better tomorrow, we've been attuned to participate in some variant of a stock-taking exercise. It's human nature!
While I was doing own little bit of stock-taking, a piece of good news as well as a piece of bad news flew my way, suddenly leaving my future absolutely daunting and bleak at the same time. It's frightening to collect the bits and pieces that made us who were are and then stand at a new crossroad thinking about the next decision, and wondering if that will ultimately define who we become.
