tea for breakfast

"Monday Blues" are most severe for me on Wednesdays. It's the start of the week and the day is filled with mundane, obligatory meetings. So a perk-myself-up treat was due! I dug into the special tea box - the one filled with branded complimentary tea we 'frisk' from hotel rooms around the world and posh airlines eager to please, finally picking out a Ronnefeldt tea bag.

Ronnefeldt is one of the oldest, most established tea companies in Germany and the rest of Europe, so I was assured my day would be in good hands. With some help from my scratchy German, I selected a fruity, zesty tea,  "Die Frische-Explosion Von Fucht: spritizig, zitrnig"!

It was bursting with flavor and everything the packaging had promised. Not overly sour but exploding with lemony goodness, the more I drank it the more I fell in love with it, certainly the perfect anecdote to the start of another treacherous week.
