I will blog with more words and pictures soon! India is certainly Incredible and I can't wait to fly back. When I told my Indian friends (they hail from south india) how kind and funny I thought North Indians were, they responded with skepticism: that's because you are Singaporean and Chinese they all said.
They might have a point because we were treated like the most exotic creatures on earth. Parents dropped their barely crawling babies on our laps, young boys asked for "one photo, please", and school children in uniform huddled around us giggling and smiling shying.
We also managed to smuggle in a spot of shopping, and in my largest haul yet (I'm not in the habit of shopping when I travel), I snagged four pairs of colourful jutti shoes on impulse. My bad influence snagged three pairs for herself and we could not help but admire their colours when we were back in our little sanctuary.
