Back home in Singapore

The very first day I returned home, I was whisked off to have 'Singaporean' food.

Fried Hokkien Mee and Char Kuay Teow. The Hokkien Mee was very good. It was cooked in a thick bodied seafood stock. ummm.
Made in Singapore by Singaporeans and exported all over the world - enjoying a mint cold poached chocolate from Awfully Chocolate on a sundeck.

Singapore is home to rather spectacular sunsets. But we don't always see them quite clearly because we have these huge mammoth concrete structures all over the city.

Getting back into the kiasu-grove with a buy one get one free ice-cream treat from Candylicious. Only avaliable after 8pm only hor!

a lovely display of water and lights at the "lake" of dreams.
