Paul Bowles's The Sheltering Sky

I've a big bag of novels fresh from the discounted shelves of Borders collecting dust on my shelf. Just after I got back from Morocco, at a big Borders sale, I finally caved in and bought myself a book I had been long eyeing.

So far, the novel, like Morocco's vast expanse of landscape is overwhelming - flowery words streaming in and out of consciousness, I love it but will it sustain my ever shortening attention span?

I must strive to set aside a part of the day for 'winding down' to the tune of prancing prose. New Goals: at least 2 to 3 novels a month and 1 movie/film/documentary per week, my to-read and to-watch list is ever-growing.
