I feel a little sad that I traded a long trip to Europe for a short one to Hong Kong. It would have been my very first Spring and Easter abroad and where else but in Europe can one experience such fine weather and celebratory moods?
Alas, I will also be missing the Hong Kong bun throwing festival by a mere 5 days!
But everything has been cast in stone, and now I'm just looking forward to a delicious birthday brunch at Tim Ho Wan, a cheap one star-michelin restaurant in Hong kong with my beloved Mother and youngest brother.
Its hard to say which trip would have been better when no one will every have the luxury of comparing both. Furthermore, its good to know that I can give up and let go of something I badly wanted and harped on (research, pictures, photos, destinations, plane tickets) for a long long time.
